The Microscopy Sales Scientist works with prospective and current customers to generate sales and propose solutions based on Lattice LightSheet, Marianas and VIVO platforms. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Life or Technical Science or equivalent experience required
Masters or Ph.D. preferred
Microscopy/ imaging software sales experience is preferred
Preferred experience in direct sales of technical products
If no sales experience, MS/ Ph.D. degree with significant microscopy and imaging software/image analysis experience
Effective training and troubleshooting skill sets are preferred
Responsibilities
Use Salesforce to track opportunities, generate quotes and drive sales
Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to provide consistent, PO-winning demonstrations
Recommend best solutions to win the customer business
Communicate with sales and product managers
Conduct regular training workshops (Webex, etc.) for internal & external customers
Complete installations and training
Provide customer support
Requirements
Strong business acumen
Strong interpersonal communications and computer skills are necessary
Must have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn independently to find solutions to potential customer’s problems
Good verbal and written communication skills with an ability to create concise technical reports
Ability to reason and negotiate complex problems with customers
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
