Description
Intelligent Imaging Innovations (3i) is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our expanding team in Denver, Colorado.  3i was established in 1995 and manufactures cutting edge microscopy imaging platforms.  We are seeking an individual who can thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment while testing microscopy components and performing system installations.  We value employees that not only possess the technical skills and abilities, but also the passion to learn, grow and succeed! This is a full-time position and requires travel, both domestic and international.  3i offers an excellent salary + benefits package and a fantastic company culture.    

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in scientific, information technology or engineering field from an accredited four-year college or university.
-1-2 years of experience in microscopy or systems testing preferred.

Responsibilities

-Component Testing
-Systems Testing
-Documentation of testing results
-Customer support on a technical level
-Executes system installations and acceptance tests.
-Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

-The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
-Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Working Environment

Working environment involves exposure to physical risks, such as exposure to class 3 & 4 lasers, operating dangerous equipment or working with chemicals. May be exposed to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises. Use of personal protective equipment is required to prevent exposure to hazards.

Conditions of Employment

Legally authorized for employment in the United States.
Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and motor vehicle record check.
Agree to and sign 3i’s confidentiality, non-compete, employment agreement.
Possess a valid driver’s license and drive for company business.
Travel, both domestic and international.
Work safely with lasers, optical and electrical systems; understand and follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Reside in the Denver-Metro or surrounding area.
